First Club Meeting of the 2018 - 2019 Year
How was your summer? What have you been shooting? Did you go anywhere special? It’s that time again, the first meeting of the camera club year, catching up with fellow members and sharing tidbits only photographers can appreciate.
Having finished the last meeting of the club year with dessert, we’re starting off the first meeting with appetizers. Bring an appetizer or drink to share, the club will provide water and paper goods. We will not have tables set up, so finger foods would be appreciated.
The agenda for this meeting will be a little different. There will be a short business meeting to discuss club business. Then we want to see what you shot over the summer. Each person is invited to bring up to 12 photos (on a thumb drive or disc) to share with the group. Obviously we aren’t picky about the time frame. If you went away in January instead of June, that’s okay. The photos won’t be critiqued and “iconic” and “postcard” shots are okay, because well, they’re your vacation photos. As an added attraction this year, we may have a few shots from the “Best of the Best” from PSA competition.
Join us on September 10 for a relaxing evening of photographs from near and far!
