Maryland Historical Society Presents Photography Exhibition
The Maryland Historical Society is presenting a photography exhibition that explores humankind's favorite subject - ourselves. The exhibit is titled " Reflections: A Brief History of Looking at Ourselves" The show encompasses nearly the entire era of photography, from the earliest 1840's daguerreotypes to modern day digital photographs and Instagram "selfies". The exhibit celebrates the 180th anniversary of photography as an invention.
"Reflections" will run from June 19, 2019, until July 2, 2020. There will be an opening reception on June 19, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The location is at 201 West Monument Street, in Baltimore.
