Field trip to McFadden Art Gallery/Glass Blowing

Field trip to McFadden Art Gallery/Glass Blowing
Saturday, January 20 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

The January B-CCC field trip takes us to the McFadden Art Gallery in Baltimore, MD.   We will meet at the Gallery (6800 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD  21224).

Everyone has the chance to participate in a glassblowing project
in collaboration with an experienced glass artist. You will be directly involved in the glassblowing process to create your masterpiece, choosing shape, colors, size, and style of glass*.

Photography is encouraged during the entire process. Tripods and monopods are allowed as long as they are set up out of the way of the glassblowing areas.

On site is a Gallery store featuring Chandeliers/Lighting fixtures, Vessels, Nesting vessels, Bowls/Platters, Cane & Murrini pattern pieces, Cups/Stemware, and Glass Sculptures.  There is a bargain table as well.

After our photoshoot we have a 5-minute drive to the Broadway Diner (6501 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224, phone (410) 631-5666), which offers a large menu of classic diner fare, including Greek & seafood specials.
