Our club newsletter, "The Viewfinder", has won two awards in the annual newsletter contest from the Photographic Society of America.

The issue submitted for the contest was from February, 2012. My thanks to all who contributed to this, and to all issues of "The Viewfinder". And a special thank you to Jeanine Cummins for her fine article. It is the contributions from our club members to this newsletter than make it the award-winning publication that it is.
I should also note that one of our neighbor clubs, the Silver Spring Camera Club, won the Arthur P. Henricks, Jr. Memorial Award for Best of Entries in 2012. They also were in a 3-way tie for an award for Best Variety of Material, and tied for an award for Best Travel Article. Our congratulations to the Silver Spring Club on their awards!
