Farm Life Festival in St. Mary's County, Sat., October 10 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sun., October 11 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.): $7.00 admission, students $3.00, 5 years old and younger free.
This appears to be the last year for this festival which raises funds for A Christmas in April, sponsored by the John K. Parlett Farm Life Museum, at 38220 New Market-Turner Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Features include:
60,000 sq. ft. of indoor space showcasing antiques representing life on a farm from household items to large machinery. (See this link for an idea of scope of items housed in this huge collection):

Live entertainment by local bands

Top off your day with a ride through Amish country just a few miles away, across Rt. 5 on Rt. 236 (and streets intersecting Rt. 236), and then perhaps a dinner at Stoney's Seafood Restaurant on Broomes Island in Calvert County, voted best crabcakes in the Tri-County area and sitting on a beautifully landscaped waterfront setting with outside dining available.
