B-CCC Members to Exhibit at The Bowie Senior Center 9/5/09-9/26/09

September 2009 Exhibit

The B-CCC will be exhibiting at the Bowie Senior Center for the month of September 2009.  The show will be hung on Saturday September 5, 2009 between 9:00AM and 10:00AM.  Please bring your work for the exhibit to the Bowie Sr. Center at that time.  We will be able to hang around 30 pieces, depending on the frame sizes.

There will be a reception for the exhibit at the Bowie Sr. Center on Thursday September 16, 2009 from 7:00PM to 8:00PM.  The exhibit will be taken down on Saturday September 26, 2009 from 9:30AM to 10:00AM.  Please come by then to pick up your work.

Key presentation guidelines for Bowie Sr. Center exhibits are:

1. Framed dimensions not to exceed 40”x40”.
2. Frame: Neat, clean, sturdy, and complementing artwork.
3. Glass: Clean inside and out.
4. Wire:
   1. Eye screws for wire positioned 1/3 down from top of frame.
   2. Strong hanging wire securely fastened, AND center of hanging wire 3 ½” below top of frame.
5. Mats: Neat, clean, and professionally cut: All four sides of mat are equal, OR top and two sides are equal and bottom is greater.  Width of mat sides, top, and Bottom, proportionally complements size of composition.
6. Identification label for artwork, medium, and artist phone number and sale price, if applicable (B-CCC will provide labels).
