Photoshop Class Taught by Clarence Carvell Photoshop 9 (CS3) Class
1st Tuesday beginning in October
Taught by Clarence Carvell
This is an entry level workshop, the same one we teach to NASA Engineers and book publishers.
Classes begin at 7 PM and end at 9 PM, on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Free to all B-CCC dues paying members. Sessions are lecture based with handouts. We will begin with setting up Photoshop for use as an image editing tool including downloading a trial version if necessary. An exact Syllabus will be developed after the first session but will include gaining a thorough understanding of all the tools, how to use Bridge as a browsing tool and batch processor, how to incorporate Lightroom into the workflow, and everything from input to output including monitor calibration, creating selections, color adjustments, retouching, sharpening, scaling for printing and web and mass storage techniques.
We will also talk about incorporating images into publications using InDesign, publishing images to the web using Dreamweaver and becoming associated with a stock image business.
Class is limited to 15 members
